Sadly, counterfeit medicines and other pharmaceutical product sometimes appear on the market. These can affect patients in negative way, do more harm than good, not having the effect of the original product and damaging the reputation of the manufacturing company.

West Pacific Pharmaceuticals takes care of consumers and regularly develops various means of protecting its products, which ensures patient safety and trust.

Our first method against piracy, is the Online Product Verification System. This mode of protection is applied to medicines for which counterfeiting has been reported. Authenticity of the product can be checked here. Based on verification code provided, the customer can find if the product they have purchased is authentic ot not.

Since each box has a unique number, the codes checked too often are identified as suspicious by the system. Too many checks on a product might indicate that the product is counterfeit.

There are embeded holographic elements in the foil of each pouch of the WPP products. We use holographic technology as a means of protection and authentication, and a warning about the dangers of counterfeiting.

Double layered label

Each product is designated with double-layered label. If your product label is tampered with, please, contact your local SDDF office and let them know.

Unique verification code

Each product has its unique verification code. When you peel the top layer of the double layered label you will find a verification code that if checked will establish the genuineness of the product you have purchased.

LOT

On the back of the pouch you will find useful information about the shelflife and batch number of the product. The first line of the print indicates the product name, second line - the lot number that indicates the day, the week and the year of the product manufacturing and the last line - the expiry date. Please, do not use the product if it is beyond its expiration date.

Soft ampules

For our injectable products we use soft plastic ampules. Those are easy to handle and transport, as well as the risk of breakage and leakage of the contents is totaly eliminated.
